Starting a cadetship with Hawkins Construction in 2003 learning about main contracting & large scale projects, I moved to Davis Langdon training as a PQS on a wide range of commercial, governmental & residential projects. In 2008 I started working for a residential main contractor looking after all their QS needs from pricing high end renovations & new builds to minor bathroom & kitchen alterations. Key areas of expertise have been preliminary project budgets / costing, tenders, project & subcontractor co-ordination / liaison, product procurement, bill of quantities / material take-offs, monthly progress claim / final payment claims & CCC documentation co-ordination.
